Hearing Aids

It's been a week since James got his hearing aids in. He isn't acting all that different, but they say it will take time before we see a difference. He tries to take them off every now and then, but for the most part he is pretty good at keeping them in. These pictures were from when we had just gotten home after getting them; he seemed to enjoy the drums even more. Next we are going to try a FM system at home and at school where I or the teacher wear a microphone and James' hearing aids have a special receiver that picks up the microphone above all other noises, so he can focus on the speaker and not be distracted by other noises.
